Quick answers about the platform, our free templates, privacy and security.
General
What is Datasuraksha?
Who is it for?
Three groups use it:
- Companies running structured self-assessments of their own controls;
- Auditors assessing organizations for certification;
- Individuals checking their personal digital security.
Teams also use it to assess a vendor or product before buying.
Getting started
Is it free to register?
Yes. You can register free, with no credit card required, and run your first assessment straight away.
Which frameworks are supported?
Assessments align to ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF and custom frameworks. You can also build your own questionnaire. See supported frameworks for the full list.
Vendor assessments
Does a vendor need an account to answer an assessment?
No. You send the vendor a secure assessment link and they respond without creating an account. Your team then reviews and approves the findings before the report is shared or acted on.
Templates & downloads
Are the templates and checklists really free?
Yes. Resources in our Templates & Checklists library are free to download and adapt for use within your organization. See our Terms of Use for details.
Will using your templates make us certified?
No template can guarantee certification. Our resources are a practical starting point. Adapt them to your organization, and remember that accredited certification bodies make certification decisions independently. See our Disclaimer.
